***Recommended age of camper: 10-14 years old

$175 per camper for 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m.

Two CuriosityCamps will be offered at Exchange City for older elementary and middle school children, ages 10-14, in grades 5th through 8th.

Exchange City is looking for creative, energetic and motivated kids who want to experience what it is like to become business entrepreneurs charged with the real-life task of running their own city. Working collaboratively with other businesses, children build a thriving business district and city community. To summarize their learning, these young entrepreneurs showcase their businesses to other citizens and parents at an end-of-camp Business Showcase.

Citizens will:

• Increase knowledge of personal finance through writing checks, making deposits and tracking expenses
• Work as a team to develop a business plan and budget that will help manage and market businesses
• Create, produce, price and sell all products and services
• Work collaboratively to build a thriving business district and community
